Welcome to Lo Scrittoio! We are a Florentine artisan shop that has been in business for forty years.
We craft leather and paper items entirely by hand, following the great Italian artisan tradition.
Our products include diaries, notebooks, picture frames, photo albums, desk accessories, pocket emptiers, and much more!
Each item, as artisanal, is unique and can be further customized according to your tastes and needs.
Quality and beauty are the two characteristics that drive us to always offer the best to our customers, in a perfect balance between tradition and innovation.
Do you have a special gift idea, or would you like a bespoke project?
1. Choose a product: Choose from diaries, photo albums, picture frames, pocket emptiers, and many other items;
2. Customize it: Choose the details, the leather colors, and the type of paper, or request that initials/names/symbols be engraved (blind-stamped, in gold, or in silver);
3. Handcrafted: The artisans at Lo Scrittoio create your one-of-a-kind piece and ship it to you in no time!
Do you have an antique book that needs restoration?
Every antique or family book holds immeasurable value, made up of history, memories, and traditions.
There is always a new life for books that show their age.
In our workshop, we restore ruined covers, repair damaged pages, and hand-rebind encyclopedias, antique books, and valuable volumes, restoring their strength and elegance while fully respecting their history.
